The untold Truth about The Wave Riders 96

Playing for The Wave Riders 96 was a great experience, But most people have never heard the truth behind who wrote songs, sang them on albums and who actually played for the band.
It all started back in 1996 (My 5th grade year) when Dan Warner and I met and became best friends. Dan and I had an idea to start a band called "The Surfers" (Which was later changed because the band name was already taken) Dan and I wrote songs together and figured it wouldn't hurt to have my friend Matt Greenwood join the band. Matt stayed with the band for one year Matt wrote many songs but unfortuanately we never had the chance to recorded them with Matt.

After Matt was out of the band my friend Philip Scott wanted to join the band. Philip never wrote songs or recorded with the band either. He moved to Texas 2 months after joining the band. Infact till this day Dan has never met Philip and we have not talked to him since he moved in 1996.

In 1997 Dan and I let Adam Green join the band for a total of 2 months. Adam did not write any songs or record with the band.

In 1999 Dan and I let D.J. Deck join the band for a total of 2 days. D.J. did not write a song or record with the band either.

By that time Dan and I produced 3 albums written and sang by our selfs.
Unfortuanately we were getting more involved in High School and our schedules became inpossible to record together even though we did try adding a new member T.J.Dingess to the band in May of 2002 The band decided to split in June of 2002, 6 years after we started the band.

Since then I have went on my own with writing songs. I even started a band with Wave Riders 96 member T.J. Dingess called Silver Dragons. We lasted for the last 4 remaining months of our high school life than I started college. After The Wave Riders 96 split up I went on to writing 3 albums and I'm still writing songs to this day.

Dan has went on to being a full time employee for the Southern Ohio Juvenile Center in Franklin Furnace, Ohio.
T.J. Dingess has went on to writing songs by himself.
