Expressing Your Mind

The whistle of the train like the
Wind blowing through the trees
Like a morning sunrise
Or an evening breeze
Summer's hot days
And autum's falling leaves
Spring's blooming flowers
And winter's early freeze
Expressing your mind
To nature's season's
Makes you understand
Mother nature's reasons
The snow falling
As the winter turns colder
The wolf howling into
The fading moon
Watching the animals play
Till half past noon
As the fog setting
On an evening field
The wildlife bieuty
Makes you yield
Expressing your mind
To nature's season's
Makes you understand
Mother nature's reasons
The sun setting over
A waterfall
The sight of an Oak tree
Reaching the sky
Water running down
The mountain side
Mother nature
Has nothing to hide
The comfort of the storm
Rising over the valley
Expressing your mind
To nature's season's
Makes you understand
Mother nature's reasons
Remembering James Dean (Dedicated to the memory of James Dean)

"Deam as if you'll live forever
Live as if you'll die today" (- James Dean -)
Thats the quote I go by
Since you went away
You were a rebel without a cause
You broke all the laws
It was september of 55
When that crash took your life away
From Hollywood to Fairmount
Everybody knew about
That horible day
It's been almost 50 years
Since everyone shed their tears
For You
You were a rebel without a cause
You didn't obey the laws
It was just your style
You only stayed a while
"Deam as if you'll live forever
Live as if you'll die today" (- James Dean -)
Thats the quote I go by
Since you went away
Shattered Dreams
Written By: Justin Evans
Date: 12-8-03
All my dreams were torn apart
When she broke my heart
She left today
And had nothing to say
When she went away
She's the one I loved so
And I never dreamed of letting go
But dreams can be shattered
Shattered more than glass
The pain will always stay
It'll never pass
Shattered dreams
Is the hardest thing
To get over in life
When you find a girl
And try to make her your wife
Of course she's sad
Cause all the dreams we had
Were gone for good
She left for no reason
And I never understood
Why she had to go
But dreams can be shattered
Shattered more than glass
The pain will always stay
It'll never pass
When I sit and think
About all out memories
I wonder what happend
To you and me
As we grew apart
I wonder if I'm still in her heart
Cause dreams can be shattered
Shattered more than glass
The pain will always stay
It'll never pass
John Denver (Dedicated to the memory of John Denver)

Sitting on your front porch
With your guitar in your hands
Singing to the land
You lived your life to the fullest
And had a few bad times
But you always seemed to have a smile
Your glasses glairing in the sun
On an early morning walk
Through the forest
Singing songs to your girl
You were always the peaceful type
Never showing any fear
Your love for the land
Was more that we would ever know
Even though you had to go
Starting out in a trio
Was the best thing in your life
Thats the way you met your wife
You lived in Aspen Colorado
Where you loved to go
Hiking in the woods
Your spirit is still with us
In out love and in our minds
Your sings still remind me
Of the love you use to have
All your cheer
Makes me wish
You were still here
But you will always be with us
In Peace and Love
The Distance of our Love
Written By: Justin Evans
Date: 12-16-03
The distance makes our love grow stronger
As our relationship gets stronger
Even though were a hundred miles apart
Your always number one in my heart
I remember that september day
When meeting you was the best thing
I fell in love with your smile
We got to talk for a while
I love looking into your blue eyes
I wanna hold you till I die
The distance makes our love grow stronger
As our relationship gets stronger
Every time we kiss
I realise what I miss
I know I'll never be blue
As long as I'm with you
When I see you smile
I wanna stay a little while
Your long hair shines in the sun
And I know your the one
The distance makes our love grow stronger
As our relationship gets stronger
You have the softest toutch
And I love you so much
Growing old with you is in my mind
I love to be with you all the time
I have all your love letters
And out love gets better
Your the one I love
And your the one I'm always thinking of
The distance makes our love grow stronger
As our relationship gets stronger
Dreams

My dreams are telling me who to choose
Cause I keep waking up in love with you
I kept seeing your smiling face
So I had to go and trace
You down
I gave you a call the other day
We had so much to say
It was so good to contact you
Now I know my dreams are true
We went out the other day
I just wish I didn't have to go away
But I'm glad your still here to stay
With Me
I'm looking forward to a good time
And everything will be just fine
But it all turned around
When I left this town
I tried calling you today
But the number had changed
We didn't even get to say goodbye
I never understood Why
I guess my dreams weren't right
Your not even in my life
It's funny how dreams can lie
It really hurts me deap inside
My Summer
Written By: Justin Evans
Date: 12-17-03
Early in the morning to the middle of the night
I'll be riding the waves till I die
Sittin' on the beach remembering the good ol' days
Every time I meet a girl I always have something to say
Me and my baby surfin' side by side
All day long on the ocean tide
I always remember the times we had
Whenever I'm surfin' I never get sad
Listen to the waves crashing on the beach
Me and my baby stay with in reach
Lying in the sand under the moonlight
Holding my baby all through the night
Cruising the strip with my chick
I know me and my baby will have a good ol' trip
We take a walk out on the peer
I'll let her know I have no fear
Lie on the beach and watch the sun go down
Than spend the rest of the night out on town
On the last day of summer we take one last ride
And hold each other on the ocean tide
We never wanted to say goodbye
But we had to, on that night
When summer's over we're still dreamin'
About all the times we use to have
